How to start up a Student Section:

How to submit your new student officer information (also known as “coding”):
Go to https://secure.asme.org/stusecinfo/NewStuSecInfo.cfm
Fill out the form and submit it. This should be done by June 30th each year.

How to submit your Student Section Program Report:
https://secure.asme.org/stuprogrpt/newstuprogrpt.cfm
This form should be submitted by June 30th each year.

How to obtain your student membership roster:
The Chair of your section will need to fill out a “Conflict of Interest” Form (located here)

and the “Use of Membership Data” Form:
http://files.asme.org/Volunteer/Unit/12443.doc
Both will need to be mailed or faxed in to ASME Staff (as addressed on the forms).                                          

After that is taken care of, they can access their member data by going to:
https://roster.asme.org/login.aspx
*NOTE:  The last name must be in ALL CAPS.

Treasurer

Membership application to join ASME:

Student membership dues are $25 per year and you have the choice of joining one technical division. The first year freshmen get the choice of free membership but do not get the magazines.
